The Least and the Greatest
I created this piece for Artprize 2016, based on a photo I took in Uganda.
It is technically the first acrylic I ever painted, though I completed a few others before this one was shown. It was the first time I saw myself as an artist.
I wanted to convey the innocence of children – their curiosity and love of bubbles and stickers – with the hope of demonstrating that a child is a child, no matter where he’s born.
